Trong Nguyen

Trong Nguyen, B.A. – Program Manager


Trong has been working with PLG since 2016. He has been working with a wide range of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. He is consistently humbled by the experience of being part of each child’s life and striving to grow along with them. Trong has experience working in a home setting, preschools and around the community. He is trained in the methods of Precision Teaching and Direct Instruction with children ranging from 3 years of age to 19 and over. His passion and area of expertise lies with working with older individuals and young adults helping them transition into young adulthood.

Trong obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from University of British Columbia in 2015, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. Following which he also completed the Disability and Applied Behaviour Analysis certification program at Douglas College in 2017. He also attends conferences as a presenter or attendee to develop himself and meet other like minded individuals in the field. Currently he is looking at graduate school to obtain a Master’s degree and further his education in the ABA field.

When Trong is not busy having a blast with the children he works with he can be seen playing competitive tennis, volleyball, and dabbling in some writing.
